Shorts before Spring and Summer?

S3T2A6798The only way to wear some shorts before Spring and Summer is to add some sheer tights!

Don’t be afraid to try this look, nobody said that tights were only made for skirts and dresses!  Although this may be out of your comfort zone I urge you to try it out anyway, you’d be surprised how it can instantly add some extra style to your casual look.  I have only experimented with a sheer black tight as an option for this kind of look, I have not tried any other style of tight under a pair of shorts, not patterned nor colored and to be honest that would be something thats a little out of “my comfort zone”, but hey if your bold enough to rock a patterned or colored tight then by all means do so! I just like to keep it more on the simpler side. 😉

Even though some of the pieces I’m wearing are meant to be worn in the Spring and Summer time, I instantly created a look acceptable for Fall simply by how I styled it.  I paired my super cool paint splattered shorts with a fun graphic tank, wore my leather jacket to keep warm, put on a burgundy colored beanie to add that little pop of color, topped it off with some good ol Jeffrey Campbell platform boots, and voila done!

Oh and FYI platform shoes are back in style in case anybody wanted to know!
