That vintage denim

S3T2A5936There’s nothing better then owning some good ol denim, whether it’s a good pair of jeans or a jacket the denim trend is here to stay, therefore don’t feel bad about splurging on a good pair of  jeans, or in this case an awesome jacket.  I was lucky enough to score this little blue number while out doing my monthly vintage digging.  This jacket is not only on trend with just the right oversized fit, but it’s cropped in length and a shade of blue that only true vintage denim can achieve.  The worn in feel and construction can only be credited with time.  In my opinion Levi’s is technically the god of denim, but sadly I can’t credit this jacket to them, this find is by Guess, yes you heard right!  Guess has had an interesting reputation and their clothes, well not to be mean are not quite classy or even stylish to say the least.  They seem to be stuck in the past with some of their designs and are in major need of a face lift!  But hey I will say one thing vintage Guess had it right.  So lets all hope they wake up soon and return to that vintage vibe, because this little jacket needs to be mass produced!

You can dress it up or down a denim jacket can go along way when mixed within your wardrobe, so believe me it’s worth the price.  For this look I was going for a dressed up feel with a mix of casual.  I paired my jacket with a black pencil skirt and a cropped funnel neck top.  Finished my look with platform peep toe booties. and there you go a perfect combination of classy meets cool!
