This past term I had the privilege to be part of an incredible project for my fashion writing class.  One of the many reasons I love my school is the freedom we are given to create such insanely amazing projects, this one just happens to be one of them, and I am so excited to share it with all of you!  I have to admit I’m pretty proud of the final outcome.  Part of the process was coming up with something that we as a group could all agree on and be proud of.  Combining our different visions with chosen content was a challenge, but achieving an end result that appealed to the reader was our goal.  With incredible team work, patience, planning, and communication, we as a class were able to produce an online magazine that represented a little bit of all of us, including using what we learned in class which resulted in a project that the school as well as the teacher were proud of.  Not only did this magazine gain respect from the faculty and student body, but we were published and displayed in our school hallway, showcasing the success of each and every person who was involved in making this project a true hit!  Way to go team!!

(And yes that is moi on the cover)

The following page was something I had the privilege to write.  Since writing is one of my strengths and a passion of mine, a passion that I plan on pursuing after graduating!  I was beyond thrilled to have this piece published in our magazine.

The next four pages are part of the fashion editorial I worked on and co wrote with Dawn Bush.  The images used are images I modeled for and are part of another project from a previous class.  Being able to reuse these incredible images worked in our favor because not only did they relate to our theme and message of our magazine, but it became the heart and essence of Avant.
